As a skincare tube packaging manufacturer established in 2004, Auber understands that color is a crucial quality inspection factor in packaging production. At our factory, we strive to ensure that the color of our products achieves a 90% similarity to the target color. That's why, before starting production, we always communicate with clients about design drafts and color references, which can be either physical objects or Pantone color codes.

However, misunderstandings still arise occasionally. One common issue is related to how clients select colors. Clients often operate on computers when creating design drafts, and the colors they see are those displayed on the screen. They then choose a Pantone color code from the design software and provide it to us. But in reality, there can be a significant difference between the physical Pantone color card and the Pantone color shown on the computer screen. Clients may not have used a physical Pantone card to select the color, while we produce skincare tube packaging based on the physical Pantone color card as the target color, leading to a color discrepancy.

Another situation is that the screen colors of different electronic devices vary. As shown in the picture, the same photo can have obvious color differences when viewed on a computer screen and different mobile phones.

Therefore, we recommend that clients use a physical Pantone card or a physical reference object to select colors when designing. There is an exception, though: when we perform CMYK printing on sheet tubes, due to the complexity of the patterns and the large color variations, we cannot rely solely on a single color and have to refer directly to the screen display color.

By following these guidelines, both manufacturers and clients can work together to ensure that the color of skincare tube packaging meets expectations, enhancing the overall quality and appeal of the products.
